College member, Professor Liu Yun Hui of the Department of Mechanical and Automation Engineering as well as the Director of CUHK T Stone Robotics Institute, was awarded the 2022 Leader of the Year (Education / Professions / Technology & Innovation) by the Sing Tao News Corporation.

Established since 1994, the award aims to recognise and encourage the achievements of Hong Kong’s finest individuals who have made outstanding contributions towards the Hong Kong’s success and prosperity, linking it to mainland China and the international society. The five awarded categories include Commerce & Industry / Finance, Community / Public Affairs / Environment & Conservation, Education / Professions / Technology & Innovation, Sports / Culture / Performing Arts and Young Entrepreneur.
