College Alumnus Received Healthy Longevity Catalyst Awards (Hong Kong) 2022

The research project Deciphering Disease Pathogenesis and Druggable Targets for Degenerative Tendinopathy using an Unbiased, Genome-wide, Single-Cell, Spatial Transcriptomic Approach led by college alumnus, Professor Patrick S H Yung of the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, was awarded Healthy Longevity Catalyst Awards (Hong Kong) 2022 and received USD$50,000 sponsorship. 

Healthy Longevity Catalyst Awards (Hong Kong) 2022 is co-organised by the Research Grant Council (RGC) and the National Academy of Medicine. It aims to sponsor and encourage research projects which are innovative, impactful, and capable of extending health and function in any stages of the lifespan.  Among ten awarded research projects in 2022, three of them are conducted by members of the CUHK.
