College member and alumnus, Mr Astley K K Chu (97/FNSC) of School of Life Sciences, received CUHK Exemplary Teaching Award in General Education 2021 for his excellent contribution in teaching and learning in UGE course. Mr Chu established GE course, UGEB2364 Food Safety and Processing Technology, and has been teaching since 2015. Warmest congratulations to Mr Chu!

The Exemplary Teaching Award in General Education was launched in 2006 with open nominations to all GE teachers and undergraduate students. Senate Committee on General Education Standing Committee will review each nomination based on course design, teaching and learning activities, and student’s evaluation.
