Chinese Musical Instrument Courses Open for Application 2017-2018 Term 2

To promote Chinese music on campus, the College will organise two Chinese musical instrument courses, including Er Hu and Di Zi in the second term of 2017-2018. The course instructors are Ms Hsin Hsiao-ling, famous Er Hu virtuoso and College Adviser on Chinese Music; Mr Choo Boon-chong, renowned Di Zi virtuoso.

Details of the courses are as follows:

Courses: Er Hu and Di Zi
Date: 31 January 2018 – 4 April 2018 (totally 8 lessons, meet on every Wednesdays)
Time: 7:00pm – 8:30pm
MOI: Cantonese
Venue: College campus
Participants:
United College students, alumni and staff
Fee: UC students - $800 per person 
(for who attended over 6 lessons, $260 will be refunded)
Alumni and staff per person - $1,120 per person
(no refund will be provided)
Quota: 10 persons in each course (at least 4 persons to form a class)

Application Deadline: Wednesday, 24 January 2018

The courses are now open for application on first come first served basis. For students, please register and pay the course fee at the Dean of Students’ Office counter. For alumni and staff, please download the application form on the College website below and send the completed form together with cheque (payable to The Chinese University of Hong Kong) to Dean of Students’ Office, United College, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, (The Chinese Musical Instrument Courses; Attn: Mr Albert Chan).
