【United Chronicles】UC Orientation Camp 1973

UCians, do you recognise the photo’s background? Can you guess what activity was this in UC Orientation Camp 1973?
During the Orientation Camp in 1973, the freshmen were organised intogroups to participate in a tree planting activity. The planting site was located at the banner rack close to the T C Cheng Building and the entrance of the Si Yuan Amphitheatre.
Time flies, and in the blink of an eye, 52 years have passed. As the saying goes, “It takes ten years to grow trees, but a hundred years to nurture people.” The College will continue to shoulder the responsibility of cultivating young talents and continue to strive for the whole person education of United College students.
