College Alumnus Received Healthy Longevity Catalyst Awards (Hong Kong) 2022
The research project Bilobalide Derivatives as Therapeutics Against Ageing-Related Neurodegenerative Diseases led by college alumnus, Professor Billy W L Ng (10/CHEM) of the School of Pharmacy was awarded Healthy Longevity Catalyst Awards (Hong Kong) 2022 and received USD$50,000 sponsorship.
Healthy Longevity Catalyst Awards (Hong Kong) 2022 is co-organised by the Research Grant Council (RGC) and the National Academy of Medicine. It aims to sponsor and encourage research projects which are innovative, impactful, and capable of extending health and function in any stages of the lifespan. Among ten awarded research projects in 2022, three of them are conducted by members of the CUHK.
