College Member Became the First Scholar from A University of Asia to Win the Dan David Prize
College member, Professor Stuart M McManus of the Department of History, won the Dan David Prize, the largest history prize in the world. The prestigious award recognised Professor McManus’s exceptional research achievement. Notably, he is the first scholar from a university in Asia to win the prize since its establishment in 2001. Professor McManus specialises in the study of the global Renaissance. As part of the award, he received US$300,000 to support his future research endeavours.
