Dr John H W Lai, Assistant Dean (Undergraduate Studies) of Faculty of Business Administration (right), conducted the Q&A Session for Professor Lo and UC students.
President Lo’s journey to bring innovative changes to various medical tests was not without its challenges. His success in achieving breakthroughs stemmed from his frequent bold hypotheses, followed by experimental validation. He encouraged students to confront challenges directly and embrace innovation, expressing his hope that more students would pursue careers in the field of innovative technology in the future. During the Q&A session, students cherished the chance to actively pose questions to President Lo about scientific research and the future development of CUHK.
Ms Lina H Y Yan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of UC and Professor Stephen H S Wong, College Head, presented a souvenir – a bomber jacket designed by a UC student to Professor Lo.
A welcoming luncheon was also held on the same day to congratulate President Lo on his appointment and to thank him for his visit. During the banquet, President Lo engaged in discussions with UC trustees, alumni, staff and student representatives about the recent developments in the college, collaboratively charting new paths for future growth.
