The 2024-2025 Spring Term United College Language Improvement Project concluded at the end of March. This semester, the College offered two courses:“SP02 Contemporary English Calligraphy”and “SP03 Korean Language and Culture for Beginners”.

“SP02 Contemporary English Calligraphy”, taught by our experienced instructor, Ms Jenny Leung, received much positive feedback from students. Throughout the course, students learned fundamental English calligraphy techniques and proper pen-holding skills. In the final class, students had the opportunity to apply their knowledge by designing their own unique logos.

Additionally, “SP03 Korean Language and Culture for Beginners”, taught by Ms Jennifer J S Choi of the Department of Linguistics and Modern Languages, introduced students to Korean spelling, basic Korean slang, and aspects of Korean culture over four lessons. Students even had the chance to introduce themselves in Korean during the final lesson.
