Teachers and Students from Wuhan, Kaiping, and Xiamen Visited UC

On 28 March 2025, two hundred teachers and students from Wuhan, Xiamen, and Kaiping visited The Chinese University of Hong Kong. They were received by Professor Stephen H S Wong, Head of United College, who introduced United College to all the visitors. College member and alumnus, Dr Siu Kam Wah of the Department of History, delivered a talk to the teachers and students, explaining how the Belt and Road Initiative and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area plan can provide development opportunities for the youth in both Hong Kong and mainland China. This exchange event was co-organised by the Kaiping Municipal Education Bureau and the Xiamen Municipal Education Bureau, which also sent representatives to accompany the group to Hong Kong.
