LANGUAGE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
Introduction
To improve students’ language proficiency, United College introduced the Language Improvement Project (LIP) in 1995.
This activity-based project will offer various languages, cultural courses and activities for students to enroll in September and January every year. General courses are non-credit bearing, free of charge, taught by well-experienced and professional instructors. Overseas programmes will be largely sponsored by the Project, therefore students could enjoy a valuable overseas learning experience with less financial burden. Starting in the 2023-24 academic year, eligible students who have successfully completed our local course(s) can receive the non-residence grant.
