Appeal results and 2nd round allocation for 2021-2022 regular-term residence at UC student hostels

Appeal results and 2nd round allocation for 2021-2022 regular-term residence in the College’s student hostels have been announced on the College website on 30 June 2021.

Successful applicants will receive their billing notification from the University Finance Office by e-mail. They are required to pay the hostel fees at the same time as the tuition fees. Those wishing to relinquish their hostel places must notify the Working Committee on Selection of Resident Students in writing before 15 July 2021. . Failing to do so will disqualify the students from applying for hostel accommodation on campus in the following year (2022-2023).

Successful applicants wishing to choose roommate(s) should submit online application to the College website https://cloud.itsc.cuhk.edu.hk/webform/view.php?id=13207576  before 12:00 noon of 15 July 2021. For further information on check-in procedures, please refer to the “Guidelines for Registration at Student Hostels”.

The Chinese University of Hong Kong strongly encourage all resident students to take COVID-19 vaccination before the new academic year starts in September 2021. Resident students who have not been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 will be required to undergo an entry test before admission to a hostel and a COVID-19 test every two weeks afterwards at their own expense. Those who have been fully vaccinated for more than 14 days can be exempted from regular testing. United College will announce more details to students who have been offered hostel places in the new academic year in early July 2021.
