Life has its ups and downs, and it’s natural to feel low sometimes.
Want to comfort a friend but don’t know where to start?
When someone close to you is troubled, and you’re at a loss for what to do, or maybe your own emotions are tangled up, and you’re looking for effective ways to feel better?
If you’ve ever had these thoughts, we invite you to join the Mental Health First Aid Course organised by the United College Student Wellness Programme.
The course, provided by the Breakthrough Counseling Center, covers concepts of mental health, knowledge about mental illnesses, and available community resources. This will enable you to support those around you during their emotional lows and accompany your loved ones through tough times. Additionally, participants who complete the entire course will receive a Mental Health First Aid Course Certificate (Youth Version) issued by the Hong Kong Mental Health Association, proving they have received basic training in mental health.
