United College 65th Anniversary Alumni Day

It is our tradition to organise the annual Alumni Day in late October. Thanks to our alumni’s staunch support, the turnout rate usually exceeds a hundred. To follow the University and College’s guidelines for social and non-academic events during COVID-19, the College will organise the brand new Alumni Day 2021 for alumni and their families in a mixed mode to celebrate UC 65th Anniversary.

The College will organise a series of activities on 30 October 2021 (Sat) at 3:00pm for our alumni and their families. Appended please find the itinerary:


2:30 pm

Shuttle buses will be arranged to pick up alumni from University MTR Station to United College Campus

2:45 pm

·         Alumni can register and get a welcome gift from the registration counter outside the UCC1, T C Cheng Building of United College

·         Sales of Souvenir for Fund Raising

3:00 pm

·         Welcoming speeches by College Head and President of the College Alumni Association

·         Group Photo Taking

3:20 pm

The College will arrange three different programmes for alumni and their family members at the same time


Programme 1: Health Talk (On site and by Zoom)

Topic: Thieves that Steal Our Health Away

Speaker: Professor Martin C S Wong (00/MED)                   

                 Associate Director, The Jockey Club School of                                                     Public Health and Primary Care         

                          Venue: C1, TC Cheng Building, United College


Programme 2: Pastel Nagomi Art Workshop

Target: Children Aged 6-11

Quota: 20

Venue: C5, TC Cheng Building, United College

Workshop will be conducted by the Instructor from the Little                          Angel Development Centre


Programme 3: One Flower Floral Therapy Workshop – Herbarium workshop【Parent-child class】

Target: Children Aged 4-10

Quota: 20 Pairs (1 parent and 1 child)

【In order to let more families join the workshop, each 

  alumnus/alumna can only apply for 1 pair, that is,

  1 parent and 1 child】

Venue: C4, TC Cheng Building, United College

Programme 4: Booth Game by CUHK Jockey Club Multi-cancer Prevention Programme – In Search of Healthy Food

Kids and Parents are welcome to join to know more about

cancer prevention and healthy food
