The Young Fellowship Academy is dedicated to empowering outstanding United College students with the mindset and skills needed to thrive in a globalised world. Since the 2023–2024 academic year, the College selected 12 to 15 exceptional students each year to join a 20-month leadership training programme.
The training programme features a training camp, one-on-one mentorship, corporate visits, a High Table Dinner, and a two-week Global Leadership Training Programme at the University of Oxford, UK. To develop public speaking and communication skills, participants are required to serve as Student Ambassadors at College events, including hosting major activities and receiving guests.
Upon successful completion of this 20-month programme, participants will be formally recognised as ‘United College Young Fellows’and will be eligible to compete for the ‘Outstanding Young Fellowship Award’, which includes a HK$10,000 scholarship for the most distinguished Young Fellow of the cohort upon graduation.

Applications are welcome from now until 19 January 2026. Interviews will be held from late January to early February. Candidates shortlisted for interviews will receive email notifications.
