【UC70】Luncheon for United College Alumni Working in CUHK
To celebrate its 70th Anniversary, United College hosted a special alumni gathering—Luncheon for UC Alumni Working in CUHK—on 23 March 2026 at the College Staff Common Room. The event warmly welcomed College alumni who are currently serving in various units across the University, offering a meaningful opportunity to reconnect with their alma mater and strengthen ties with the College.
Around 60 guests attended the luncheon, including nearly 50 alumni who took a welcome pause from their busy work schedules to return to the UC campus. The gathering brought together alumni from different graduating years and professional backgrounds, creating a joyful atmosphere of reunion where new connections were formed and old friendships rekindled.
In his welcoming remarks, Professor Stephen H S Wong, College Head, expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the alumni for their continued dedication to the University and for making time to join the gathering. He encouraged alumni to stay engaged with and supportive of the College’s ongoing development and 70th Anniversary activities, and to work together in carrying forward the traditions of United College.
