The University celebrated Staff Appreciation Day on 12 December 2025 to honour the dedication and commitment of its staff over the past year. 

United College marked this occasion with a tea gathering on 11 December, giving colleagues an opportunity to take a short break from their busy schedules, connect with one another, and enjoy some delightful refreshments and drinks.

Professor Stephen H S Wong, College Head; Professor Tang Sze Wing, Associate College Head; Professor Faye S Y Tsang and Professor Tse Chi Shing, Associate Deans of Students; and Ms Dorothy K Y Chu, College Secretary, attended the gathering to express their heartfelt thanks to all College staff for their efforts and devotion throughout the year. The College also prepared thoughtful gifts for colleagues who were unable to attend the gathering due to work commitments. This act highlighted the management’s deep appreciation for the unwavering efforts and contributions of all staff.
