Cherish the Gathering – Reunion Luncheon for Alumni Graduated for 40 years or above

The Reunion Luncheon for Alumni Graduated for 40 years or above was held on 20 July 2024 on United College campus. More than 120 guests including College management, retiring staff, alumni and family members participated in the gathering. Despite the heavy rain that morning, the alumni’s enthusiasm remained undampened.
The College organised a campus tour for alumni to learn about the latest developments and facilities. Comparing the current environment to their time as students, the alumni remarked how fortunate current students are! The alumni were particularly excited to re-visit the Adam Schall Residence, eagerly hoping to find the rooms they once lived in.
After the campus tour, all the attending guests, alumni and family members gathered for a group photo at Tsang Steps. During the photo session, the sun emerged and illuminated the scene for everyone!
Subsequently, everyone proceeded to the student canteen for the reunion luncheon, where 10 tables were fully occupied by guests and participants. The College prepared souvenir for the alumni. Professor Stephen H S Wong, Head of United College, and Mr Simon K C Lee, President of UC Alumni Association, delivered speeches, expressing gratitude to the alumni for their strong support and for returning to their alma mater to join this event. Alumni also supported the souvenir sale to raise funds for United College.
