College student, Mr Kelvin W C Yung (MEDU/4) attended the Hong Kong Inclusion Summit 2026, organised by the South China Morning Post, on 2 February 2026, and served as a panelist in one of the discussion sessions.

During the session titled “Impact of Social Media on Inclusion and Exclusion”, Mr Yung joined three other student panelists in an in‑depth discussion on how social media can both foster social inclusion and, at the same time, intensify exclusion. The conversation covered perspectives from educational and societal contexts, with the panelists drawing on their personal learning and everyday observations to examine the impact of social media on younger generations and as well as broader societal development.

The event featured a range of thematic sharing sessions and panel discussions that fostered dialogue on diversity and inclusion, while encouraging stakeholders across society to reflect on how to build a more inclusive community.
