UC Graduation Ceremony 2024-2025 was held on 6 November 2025 at Sir Run Run Shaw Hall. More than 1,300 graduates, along with their family members and friends, attended and witnessed this milestone for our dear graduates. Congratulations and best wishes to all the graduates as they begin a new chapter of their journey, and heartfelt appreciation to all guests for their presence for making good memories together. Online live broadcast of the ceremony was provided for those who were unable to attend in person.

Dr Lam Ching Choi, the Guest of Honor, delivered an inspiring address to the graduates.

Mr John K H Lee, the Guest of Honor, delivered a congratulatory address to the graduates.

Mr Perry H Y Wong (25/LAWS), representative of Graduate 2024-2025,  delivered the vote of thanks on behalf of all graduates.

Dr Lam Ching Choi, GBS, JP, Non-official Member of Executive Council, The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China, deliver an address to officiate the ceremony. He encouraged the graduates to believe in their potential, embrace different knowledges and maintain curiosity and an open mind to learn new things. Next, Mr John K H Lee, Trustee of United College and President of United College Alumni Association, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, congratulated the graduates and extended his best wishes to all. Mr Lee also invited the graduates to maintain their connection with the college as alumni and practice the school motto “Ming De Xin Min”. Then Mr Perry H Y Wong (25/LAWS), representative of the Graduates of 2024-2025, express a heartfelt vote of thanks to all families, friends, teachers and College members.

Professor Lee Hung Kay, Associate Head and Dean of General Education, delivered the names of graduates.

Afterwards, Professor Tang Sze Wing, Associate Head, Professor Martin C S Wong, Associate Head and Dean of Students and Professor Lee Hung Kay, Associate Head and Dean of General Education presented the graduates of 2024-2025 onto the stage one by one, while Dr Lam Ching Choi, Ms Lina H Y Yan, Chairman of the College Board of Trustees and Professor Stephen H S Wong, College Head presented the College Graduation Certificates to the graduates.

Prior to the UC Graduation Ceremony, the Tree Planting Ceremony and Group Photo for Graduates 2024-2025 took place at Tsang Steps that is next to Tsang Shiu Tim Building. Special photo backdrop was also set up on the college campus for graduates and parents to capture all the precious moments.
