The inauguration ceremonies of the seven hall associations were held in January 2026. The College management team, Wardens, and College staff were invited to attend the inauguration ceremony of each hall to witness this significant moment of succession between the committees. The ceremonies not only symbolised the unity of the Residents’ Associations and Non-residential Hall Associations but also opened a new chapter for a future full of possibilities. With renewed enthusiasm, the new committees will work together to create a vibrant and enriching campus life for all students.

Adam Schall Residence

The committee was grateful to have so many guests take the time out of their busy schedules to attend the ceremony and witness this significant moment. Since September last year, the Residents’ Association of Adam Schall Residence, “Adam Tonic” has gone through key stages such as the promotional period and consultation day. Although there were many challenges, all members remained persistent and dedicated, continuing and upholding traditions while striving for even better achievements under the guidance of the previous committee. Adam Tonic will continue to do its best to provide residents with a comfortable and inclusive living environment and will regularly organise activities to enhance residents’ sense of belonging to the residence.

Bethlehem Hall

The Inauguration Ceremony of “Bethnova”, the Residents’ Association of Bethlehem Hall, was completed. The committee sincerely thanked all the guests for their continuous support and participation, and expressed hopes of embracing more challenges and opportunities in the future. The transition between the two committees marked not only the passing on of responsibilities but also the continuation of shared missions and values. The ceremony was a fresh start and an important milestone. The committee will work hand in hand, aiming higher and achieving more towards a brighter future.

Hang Seng Hall

“ChainsawHang”, the Residents’ Association of Hang Seng Hall, held its inauguration dinner and Inauguration Ceremony in the South Wing Activity Room on the third floor on the evening of 26 January 2026. The Associate College Heads of United College, Wardens, College Secretary and Development Officers were invited as guests to witness ChainsawHang’s official Inauguration Ceremony. The evening also featured a sumptuous feast, performances, and a raffle, making it a wonderful and unforgettable night.

Chan Chun Ha Hostel

Thanks to the guidance and support of the warden, residence tutors and the previous committee, the Inauguration Ceremony of “Chanrenity”, the Residents’ Association of Chan Chun Ha Hostel,  was completed smoothly. With the blessings and experience shared, the residents’ association looks forward to organising a various of activities to provide residents with a safe and comfortable living experience, along with creating a unique and exciting hall life.

Choi Kai Yau Residence

The Inauguration Ceremony of the first Residents’ Association of Choi Kai Yau Residence was concluded. Among all segments of the event, the most moving event was the “Star Jar” ceremony. Each guest placed a star into the jar, symbolising a shared commitment to illuminating the future of the residence. It stood out as one of the most touching highlights of the event. Afterwards, the atmosphere further warmed as participants joined in the cutting of the roasted suckling pig and cake, followed by the presentation of commemorative gifts, all of which helped bring everyone even closer together.

Pak Chuen Hall

The Inauguration Ceremony of Pak Chuen Hall was held on 16 January 2026. A heartfelt thank‑you goes to the College Head, Wardens, guests, and the former committee members for their support. In the coming year, the new committee will organise various services and events for non-residential students, hoping that everyone can enjoy a rich and meaningful campus life.

Ping Fan Hall

The Inauguration Ceremony of Ping Fan Hall featured an encouraging speech by the Warden, the handover of the hall stamp, and the solemn swearing‑in of the new cabinet, “Fanmias”. The ceremony symbolised heritage and unity, and the committee was honoured by the presence of distinguished guests who came to support and witness the beginning of a new chapter for Ping Fan Hall. Carrying forward the spirit of Sir Kenneth Fung Ping‑fan, the new committee is committed to creating a vibrant and supportive hall community for all non‑residential students. They look forward to working closely with fellow students to create a wonderful year ahead.
