Moments That Matter: A Recap of UChum’s Second Term Activities

As the 2025-2026 academic year draws to a close, we look back on a series of initiatives organised by UChum, the Student Peer Support Ambassadors under the College Student Wellness Programme. Through simple yet meaningful interactions, UChum has sought to create a warm and supportive space for relaxation, connection, and mutual support amid the fast-paced demands of university life.

Party Game Night

On the evening of 25 March, UChum hosted Party Game Night at L+. The event began with light-hearted icebreakers, followed by small-group board games, and concluded with an exciting round of ‘Werewolf.’ Participants gathered in circles, moving between moments of strategic focus and shared laughter.

Every Grain Counts: Perler Beads Workshop

The Perler Beads Workshop on 1 April offered a refreshing change of pace. Tables were filled with colourful beads as the ambassadors introduced basic techniques and safety tips. With tweezers in hand, students carefully followed their chosen designs before heat was applied to fuse the beads together. Gradually, unique handcrafted pieces took shape—each reflecting patience, creativity, and care.

Exam Cheering Session at Wu Chung Library

On 20 April, UChum visited Wu Chung Library to offer encouragement to students studying hard. Professor Tse Chi Shing, Associate Dean of Students, joined the ambassadors to give away specially designed gift packs to students, bringing warmth and reassurance to the campus community during the examination period.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all students who participated in UChum activities. Your presence made these shared moments truly meaningful. Our ambassadors look forward to planning more events in the coming academic year, and we hope to see you again!
