The University Council elected Professor Stephen H S Wong, Head of United College, as a member of the Council, in accordance with Statute 11.1(f), for a period of one year from 19 January 2026.

The University Council has also elected Professor Zhou Lin, College Member and Dean of Business Administration, as a member of the Council, in accordance with Statute 11.1(g), for a period of one year from 22 January 2026.
