Staying Kind – UChum’s Recap and New Chapter
As the second term begins, we look back on the past semester, when the College Student Wellness Programme and UChum — the College Peer Support Ambassadors — organised a variety of activities to enrich and brighten students’ campus life.
Board Game Night — Strengthening Connections Through Play
The Peer Buddy Programme, began in Term 1, with UChum Ambassadors guiding freshmen as they navigate university life. To further strengthen these bonds, UChum hosted a Board Game Night on 14 November 2025, featuring a range of interactive team games, including non-verbal charades. Students enthusiastically participated and even invented their own signals, creating a lively and cooperative atmosphere.
Toward the end of the event, UChum also addressed freshmen’s questions by sharing insights and tips on completing the College Final Year Project, and joining the GOAL Programme.
College Assembly — When Life is a Game: Some Tips that You Can Try
At the College Assembly on wellness held on 19 November 2025, YouTuber Rottenamimi recounted her journey from participating in King Maker to creating a YouTube channel dedicated to mental well-being. She discussed the challenges she faced and suggested ways to cope with emotional pressure.
She encouraged students to adopt an open mindset — embracing the idea of “not knowing” — and to stay kind, making kindness a conscious choice.

The New UChum Team Officially Formed
14 new UChum ambassadors were selected this year. Prior to the start of the term, they attended a two-day, one-night training camp at the Hong Kong Scout Association Wong Siu Sang Leadership Training Centre in Sai Kung. The programme strengthened their resilience and teamwork through hiking, high-rope activities, and a series of collaborative tasks.
In the coming term, the new ambassadors will receive further training and look forward to offering UC students a range of thoughtfully curated activities.
