The 19^th College Head’s Cup commenced on 12 January 2026. At the Opening Ceremony, Professor Stephen H S Wong, College Head, officiated the kick‑off ceremony of the football match, accompanied by Professor Martin C S Wong , Associate Head and Dean of Students; Professor Tang Sze Wing, Associate Head; Professor Faye S Y Tsang , Associate Dean of Students; Professor Tse Chi Shing, Associate Dean of Students; and Ms Dorothy K Y Chu, College Secretary, marking the official start of this year’s intense Head’s Cup competitions.

This year, the number of hostels participating increased from six to seven, and the competition format was revised to a single‑elimination system with no repechage. Five hostels and two non‑residential halls took part in a series of ball games held from January to February 2026, including football, tennis, badminton, table tennis, volleyball, women’s basketball and men’s basketball. Together with the Swimming Gala and Athletics Meet held in the previous semester, all hostels and halls strove to compete for the overall championship title of the 2026 Head’s Cup.

After more than a month of fierce competitions, the 2026 Head’s Cup concluded successfully on 11 February 2026, following the men’s basketball final. Hang Seng Hall captured the overall championship, while Adam Schall Residence and Pak Chuen Hall were crowned the first and second runners‑up respectively. Congratulations to all athletes from the seven hostels and halls!
