Let’s read the sharing from the recipient of the Gold Award of this year:
“For me, volunteering has not only allowed me to help others but also provided me with opportunities to explore new experiences, facilitating my personal growth and broadening my horizons. Through my volunteer work, I have learnt how to assist others with empathy and kindness. I have come to realise that the time I invest and the seemingly small gestures I make can hold significant meaning and value for others. I am grateful for the chance to make a difference, as it has enabled me to recognise that my abilities and strengths are more powerful than I had imagined, allowing me to play a significant role in supporting those in need.”
