On 22 March 2025 8:30-9:30 pm, the Earth Hour 2025 took place globally with the inspiring theme “Give An Hour For Earth”. This powerful initiative called on individuals to make a difference – whether by reconnecting with nature, restoring ecosystems, or inspiring others to take actions. Even one hour of effort can make a significant difference to our planet’s future.

As always, United College proudly continued its tradition of supporting the Earth Hour initiative, turning off certain campus lights for one hour that evening. The following campus lights turned off during the event:

• The signage of Cheung Chuk Shan Amenities Building
