In January, 15 College students were selected through interviews for the Young Fellowship Academy to become Young Fellows‑to‑be in Cohort Three. From 7 to 8 March, students completed the first programme activity, featuring a Communication Workshop and an Outdoor Training Camp.

To enhance students’ communication skills during the one‑to‑one mentorship sessions under the programme, the College was honoured to invited College alumnus, Ms Winnie W Y Tam to facilitate the Communication Workshop. Through case sharing, demonstrations and interactive exercises, Ms Tam guided students in enhancing their communication skills and building personal branding strategies—equipping them for meaningful engagement with senior mentors in the upcoming mentorship programme.

The College also encourages students to build connections and support one another throughout the 20‑month programme. Following the workshop, students participated in an outdoor training camp at the HKYWCA Sydney Leong Holiday Lodge. Working collaboratively on challenges such as night hiking and stream trekking, students strengthened peer connections and cultivated teamwork and resilience.

The College looks forward to seeing our Young Fellows-to-be continue to grow, learn, and create lasting memories throughout the programme.
