Young Fellowship Academy High Table Dinner 2025-2026

To strengthen meaningful exchanges between Young Fellows-to-be and their senior mentors, the College hosted the Young Fellowship Academy High Table Dinner 2025–2026 on 27 March 2026 at Courtyard by Marriott Hong Kong Sha Tin. The evening brought together Fellows-to-be from Cohorts Two and Three, alongside Senior Mentors and distinguished guests, in a warm and inspiring setting.

In his welcome address, Professor Stephen H S Wong, College Head, highlighted mentorship as a cornerstone of the Young Fellowship Academy. He expressed heartfelt appreciation to the Senior Mentors for their dedication to nurturing the next generation of young leaders. The College was also honoured to invite Dr Ricky Y T Chiu, College Trustee, Chairman and CEO of PHASE Scientific International Limited, to serve as the Officiating Guest and Keynote Speaker of the Dinner.

Following the College Head’s speech, Dr Ricky Chiu shared candid reflections of his career journey and the decision-making challenges faced in times of uncertainty. Emphasising that change often brings opportunities, he encouraged Young Fellows-to-be to embrace uncertainty, develop sound judgement, and cultivate resilience in their personal and professional paths.

The Dinner also featured a meaningful mentor-mentee sharing session by Mr Rono H C Kwong, Senior Mentor of Cohort One, and Ms Coco J K Bao, Young Fellow of Cohort One. Coco expressed her gratitude to Mr Kwong for the guidance she received in sharpening her thinking and gaining practical exposure, while Mr Kwong encouraged mentors to continue creating opportunities and walking alongside students in their growth.

Spinning 20 months, the Young Fellowship Academy offers sustained mentorship and guidance to the Young Fellows-to-be. The College extends its sincere gratitude to all Senior Mentors for their invaluable commitment and encourages Fellows-to-be to continue engaging proactively in this rewarding mentorship journey.
