United College Alumni Reunion Camp 2023
At the beginning of the summer vacation, the College organised a two-day-one-night Alumni Reunion Camp for the Classes of 1998-2003 from 15 to 16 July 2023. Nearly 50 alumni and their family members stayed at the Adam Schall Residence to reminisce about the good old days!
The camp offered a variety of activities, including campus tour, family portrait photo-taking at Creative Media Studio of Tien Chi Microcomputer Laboratory, banana cake workshop, soap making workshop, welcome dinner hosted by College Head and so on. Professor Stephen H S Wong, College Head, and Mr Simon K C Lee, President of the College Alumni Association, extended their warm welcome to alumni and families, and invited them to actively participate in the upcoming events organised by the College and the College Alumni Association. The alumni expressed their enjoyment of returning to the College campus and were impressed and appreciative of the College’s new development and changes.

It has been 20 years since I graduated! I am thankful that I could come back to my alma mater with my family members and even stayed at the student hostel for one night. As a mother of three, when I re-visited the campus and met the professors who taught me. It seemed that I have returned to my good old days. I took this opportunity to share my interesting stories at CUHK with my children, they were all longing for their University life! We joined the banana cake workshop and played the pickle ball and spent a memorable weekend at UC.
We were blessed to have good weather during the camp as Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 was hoisted at the night we left the campus!
