United College Staff Residence will accept new applications from 17/6/2022 – 8/7/2022. Three 2-room residential flats, including Flat B3, B4 & B5, around 650 sq. ft. each, will be available in this round of application. Successful applicant will be offered an initial licence of one year and move in by the end of August. Allocation of the three flats will be solely determined by the United College Staff Housin17g Committee, applicants are not allowed to choose the flat.more

Even in Pandemic, Spring Comes”, An Art Exhibition by Professor Hon-ching Lee will be held at the Ground Floor Lobby of Wu Chung Library of The Chinese University of Hong Kong from 21st June to 12th July 2022. This series of artifacts, also being exhibited in December last year, was well-received by CUHK members and the public. Thanks to Professor Lee‘s generosity, some of the artifacts were donated to the College for celebrating the 65th. You are cordially invited to come to the exhibition in person.
The room allocation results for UC summer residence in 2022 have been released on 27 May 2022. Successful applicants are advised to check-in at their respective hostels, starting from 2:00pm on 1 June 2022 (Wed). Please read the registration guidelines carefully and bring the necessary documents and two recent photos for registration. Late admission should be reported to the respective wardens in writing and seek prior approval at least two working days in advance. Otherwise the hostel places being assigned will be forfeited.more
The aim of the scheme is to provide financial support to staff of the College who may need to engage undergraduates of United College as helpers in research or administrative projects. The award rate for a student helper is currently HK$63 per hour (including HK$3 as MPF). The scheme is administered by the Committee on Student Campus Work Scheme. The two exercises of application in each financial year will usually open in May and November. As the Government will relax some of the infection control measures regulating the operation of restaurants from 21 April, 2022, dine-in services after 6:00pm at the College Student Canteen will also be resumed from 21 April.

There are 6-8 College Assemblies to be held at Sir Run Run Shaw Hall in 2 Academic Terms of each year, while some smaller scale College Assemblies will be held on the College and University campus. The “College Assembly Time” is usually scheduled at 11:30 am to 1:00 pm on Fridays, while some College Assemblies will be organized in weekday afternoons. Some related activities, such as seminars and lectures, will also be organized as parts of College Assemblies. Details on time and venue of these related activities will be released on the College Assembly website.more
