It is our tradition to organise the annual Alumni Day in late October. Thanks to our alumni’s staunch support, the turnout rate usually exceeds a hundred. To follow the University and College’s guidelines for social and non-academic events during COVID-19, the College will organise the brand new Alumni Day 2021 for alumni and their families in a mixed mode to celebrate UC 65th Anniversary.
The College will organise a series of activities on 30 October 2021 (Sat) at 3:00pm for our alumni and their families.
The payment due date of tuition and hostel fees for the Term 1 of 2021-2022 is 30 September 2021. The ‘Group Sense Innovation and Entrepreneurial Project Award’ is renamed as ‘Group Sense Social Innovation and Sustainable Development Award (GSSA)’ and will be launched in September 2021 with some brand new features.

To celebrate our reunion on UC campus, the College is going to present you the Orientation Week 2021, under the theme of “We Unite on the Mountain Top”. From 6 to 10 September 2021, a series of activities will be held during the week to welcome UC students to visit our beautiful campus. It will be a great start for UCians to know more about the College and meet some new friends. We can cheer each other on, and start the school year together with laughter!
The College Organic Farming Scheme was first launched in 2008. Its main objective is to arouse the College members’ awareness in greening and environmental protection through participating in gardening activities. The farming scheme is now opened for application, all College members are welcomed to apply. Details are as follows:
Venue: Organic farm at the backyard of Adam Schall Residence
Size of Plots: Approximately 60cm x 330cm per plot
Period: 1/10/2021 – 31/1/2022
Quota: 29 (Priority will be given to students. Places will be allocated by drawing lots if the number of applicants exceed the quota.)
Balloting date（if necessary）：12:45p.m. , 20/9/2021 (UCA405 Conference Room)
Fee : Successful applicants are required to pay $20 for the rental fee of farm plot and $200 for deposit. The deposit will be refunded after the rental period.

There are 6-8 College Assemblies to be held at Sir Run Run Shaw Hall in 2 Academic Terms of each year, while some smaller scale College Assemblies will be held on the College and University campus. The “College Assembly Time” is usually scheduled at 11:30 am to 1:00 pm on Fridays, while some College Assemblies will be organized in weekday afternoons. Some related activities, such as seminars and lectures, will also be organized as parts of College Assemblies. Details on time and venue of these related activities will be released on the College Website.more
